THE DOCTORS
From a young age, I’ve gravitated toward the world of science, driven to explore and learn new things. Innate curiosity coupled with a passion for creative artistic endeavors, primed me for a career in dentistry with its unique blend of art and science.
After earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Brigham Young University in 2007, I joined AmeriCorps Teach for America, eager to share my passion for learning. I crossed the country, and started a position teaching middle school science in Bridgeport, CT. A few years later, I accepted an opportunity to teach high school chemistry in New Haven, CT. There I met my best friend and wife, who was teaching math at the same school.
Sharing a vision for careers in healthcare prompted us to move to Philly, where I enrolled in UPenn’s Pre-Health Specialized Studies Program, setting the stage for my acceptance into Dental School.
I’m a proud graduate of the UCONN School of Dental Medicine. Following my doctorate, I sought to deepen my expertise through an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at UCONN, furthering my commitment to excellence in patient care.
My approach to dentistry is guided by a principle that resonates deeply with me: treat others how you’d like to be treated. This approach, combined with a comprehensive view of patient health, allows me to view dentistry as more than a profession, rather an opportunity to serve and make a positive impact within my community.
Outside the dental office, each day is a new adventure, shared with my wife and our three incredible kids. While personal hobbies often take a backseat, I find joy and relaxation in drawing, reading, and embracing the great outdoors whenever possible.
